African Lion Safari

Day 1 : Nairobi –Lake Nakuru National park

On the first day of your African Lion Safari pick up from your hotel will be in the morning at around 0800 hrs and drive to the Great Rift Valley viewing scenery. We arrive at the Pink Lake often referred so due to its Great masses of Flamingos in good time for lunch. Lunch at a lodge followed by full afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill Tented Lodge or similar.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara

We shall depart the lodge soon after breakfast and proceed to the Maasai Mara & arrive just in time for Lunch. Late afternoon game drives followed by dinner and overnight stay at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.

Day 3: Maasai Mara

Spend the entire day 3 of your safari exploring the park in search of the big 5 – Optional balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.

Day 4: Maasai Mara – Nairobi

3 Days Camping Trip in The Great Rift Valley

Enjoy a 3 day camping trip to the Great Rift Valley in Kenya by combining luxurious camping and comfortable lodge accommodation.

The Great Rift Valley is part of an intra-continental ridge system that runs through Kenya from north to south.

The valley contains a series of volcanoes, some of which are still active.

It also contains numerous lakes, such as lake Nakuru, the one famous for its flamingos.

This safari is perfect for solo adventurers, students and small groups of people.

Safari starts and ends in Mombasa.

Day 1: Depart Mombasa for Mt. Longonot

On the early morning of day 1 we depart Mombasa and head to Mt. Longonot National Park by flight.

We arrive at later in the day and begin our tour.

Refreshments will be provided immediately upon arrival.

Meal plan: Lunch and dinner.

Dinner and overnight at your Mt. Longonot lodge/tented camp.

Highlights of this tour include: views of Mt. Longonot, the magnificent Lake Naivasha, Major wildlife attractions such as buffaloes, elands, lion, leopard, bushbucks, common zebra, giraffe and Grant’s gazelles.

Day 2: Mt. Longonot – Lake Elementaita

Enjoy an early morning game drive at Mt. Longonot National Park.

Return for late breakfast.

Relax a bit and then depart for Lake Elementaita after lunch.

Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Dinner and overnight at your L. Elementaita Lodge/tented camp.

Highlights of this tour include: The “Kekopey” hot springs, zebras, gazelle, elands and warthogs at L. Elementaita. Also, there are over 100 species of migratory birds, including the African Spoonbill, Black-Necked Grebe, Yellow Billed Stork, Gull Billed Tern, Pied Avocet, Black Winged Stilt, and Grey-Headed Gull.
